A reputation held by other people

Word of mouth is a slower way to grow a cleaning business and a harder one to fake. Nobody recommends their cleaner to a neighbour on the strength of an advertisement. They do it because the house was right, again, on the day it was supposed to be.

We've got an Airbnb up in the Northern Rivers hinterland, about an hour from home, and finding cleaners we could actually rely on out there was a nightmare. We went through a few before we found Teagan and the TLB team, and honestly we haven't looked back. Teagan works straight off our bookings, restocks everything and sends us a quick update after each clean. We don't have to chase a thing. When you can't just pop over and check on the place, that's worth a lot. Can't recommend them enough.

1. Where can I read reviews of TLB Cleaning?

On our Google Business Profile. The reviews on this page are copied from there word for word, and you can read all of them, or leave your own, through the links on this page.

2. Do you guarantee my bond back?

No, and be careful with anyone who does, because a bond is released by an agent or a tribunal rather than by a cleaner. What we do is clean to the standard your exit inspection is measured against, and come back and fix anything the inspection picks up on the cleaning.

3. What happens if a clean is not up to standard?

Tell us and we come back. Under the Australian Consumer Law a service has to be provided with due care and skill and be fit for the purpose you asked for, and you are entitled to a remedy when it is not. Reporting it within a day or two makes it much easier to put right.

4. Can I speak to an existing client before I book?

Ask us. We will not hand out a client list, but plenty of people are happy to be asked, and in a region this size you may well already know somebody we clean for. That is how nearly every client we have found us.

5. Do you work with real estate agencies?

Yes. Bond cleans, vacancy turnarounds and routine cleans on managed properties are a steady part of what we do, and agency work is where the standard is least forgiving.

6. Are the before and after photos on this site real jobs?

Yes. Both comparisons on this page are real TLB jobs, published with the client’s written permission and with nothing identifying in frame — no house numbers, no street signs, no people. Any pair we add later goes up the same way, or it does not go up.
