How booking works
Set it up once,
then stop thinking about it.
Book online in a couple of minutes, or send a text if that's what you'd actually do. Either way, here is exactly what happens next.
Book your clean onlineBooking a clean with TLB takes three steps: check we clean your town, tell us what your place needs, then pick a day. You can do all three online, or by text, phone or email if you would rather talk it through.
Nothing about it locks you in. There is no minimum term and no exit fee, so the first booking is a first booking rather than a commitment.
Three steps, and none of them are hard
The whole arrangement, from checking your town to a day you never have to think about again.

Check we clean your town
We work right across the Northern Rivers and the Tweed, inland and on the coast, and cross the border into Coolangatta, Palm Beach and Burleigh Heads. The full list of towns is further down this page.
If your town isn't on it, ask anyway. Our teams live across the region rather than driving out from one depot, so the answer depends on where the nearest run already goes.

Tell us about your place
Size, condition and how often you want us. We quote on your actual place rather than a published rate that would be wrong for most homes, so the more you tell us the closer the number is.
If it turns out you need less than you asked for, we'll say so. A one-off deep clean followed by a fortnightly usually works out better than paying for a long first regular clean.

Pick a day, and keep it
Choose the day that suits and we'll put you with the team that covers your area, on that day, at that frequency. You'll get a reminder in the lead-up so it never sneaks up on you, and a message when we're on our way.
After that there is nothing to organise. Most clients never think about the booking again until something in their week changes, and then they text us.
What happens on the day
Some clients want a quick chat and a walk through before we start. Others would rather we let ourselves in and they come home to it done. Both are completely fine, and you can change your mind whenever you like.
You don't need to be home. Most of our clients aren't, and how we get in is agreed when you book rather than worked out at the door.
The practical bits
The questions clients ask in the first week.
Getting in
Agreed when you book, and written into the notes for your place. A key, a lockbox, a code, or you let us in. If it changes, tell us once and the notes change with it.
What we bring
Everything. Vacuum, caddy, cloths and products. If you would rather we used something specific on a particular surface, leave it out and tell us, and that becomes part of your notes too.
The first clean
It usually takes longer and costs more, and we will tell you that upfront. The first visit starts from wherever the house actually is rather than holding a standard that is already set. After that, visits settle into a predictable window.
Skipping or moving a visit
Text us. You can skip a week, move a day or pause the whole arrangement while you are away. There is no minimum term and no exit fee, so none of it costs you anything to ask.
You don't have to book online
Online, text, phone or email, whichever you would actually use. Plenty of people would rather talk the first one through than guess at a form, and we would rather that too.
The reminders and the set schedule work the same either way. Booking online is faster, not better.
Booking something other than a house
The three steps above are written for a home. These three work a bit differently.
- Booking turnovers for a holiday letWe work straight off your booking calendar rather than a fixed day, so turnovers happen around your guests without you organising each one.
- Booking as an agency or property managerVacancy turnarounds and bond cleans at short notice, on a rent roll rather than one job at a time.
- Booking a commercial cleanPriced on a walkthrough rather than a form, because nobody can quote a building from a set of dropdowns.

Booking: FAQs
1. How do I book a cleaner with TLB?
Online in a couple of minutes, or by text, phone or email. You tell us your town, the size and condition of your place and how often you want us, and we come back with a price. Nothing is locked in at that point.
2. How far ahead should I book?
The sooner the better for a regular slot, because a set day with a set team means waiting for that day to be free in your area. One-off cleans, bond cleans and turnovers are easier to fit in at shorter notice.
3. Do I need to be home for the clean?
No, and most of our clients are not. How we get in is agreed when you book, and we message you when we are on the way. If you would rather be there for the first one and not after that, that is completely normal.
4. Can I change my regular day?
Yes. Text us and we will move you to another day that your area is covered on. It is not always the same week, because the runs are built around towns rather than one big roster, so tell us early if you can.
5. Can I skip a visit while I am away?
Yes. Skip a week, pause for a month, or stop entirely. There is no minimum term and no exit fee. Tell us when you are back and we will put you on the next available day in your area.
6. Will I know who is coming?
Yes. Your place is assigned to a team, and you can meet whoever looks after it before the first visit if you ask. If somebody is away, another member of your team covers and we let you know beforehand.
7. What if I only want one clean?
That is fine, and for anyone changing cleaners we would suggest exactly that. Book one, see how it goes, then decide about a regular. Nobody here is going to push you to commit before you have seen the work.
