The service area, in three numbers
All three are counted from the town list further down this page rather than typed in, so they cannot drift away from it.
Three regions, three different jobs
They run end to end down one stretch of coast and hinterland, and they do not clean the same way. What changes is the housing, the weather and what the salt gets to.
Northern Rivers, NSW — 28 towns
The biggest of the three and the most varied. It runs from Kyogle and Casino in the west, through Lismore and the hinterland villages, out to Ballina, Lennox Head and Byron Bay on the coast.
Two quite different cleaning jobs sit inside one region here. Inland, it is older housing stock, a lot of timber, and mould and damp that arrive with the wet rather than with neglect. On the coast it is salt haze on glass, sand in every track, and a holiday-let calendar that turns the whole thing over each Saturday.
Byron Shire also carries its own short-stay rules, which changed what a letting year looks like for a lot of owners here.
The Tweed, NSW — 19 towns
Murwillumbah and the caldera villages on one side, the Kingscliff and Pottsville coastal strip on the other, and Tweed Heads pressed right against the border.
This is the part of the map that makes the business what it is. A tenancy in Tweed Heads and a tenancy in Coolangatta are four kilometres and one state apart, and most cleaners work only one side of that line. We work both, which matters most at the end of a lease, when the paperwork changes even though the cleaning does not.
It is also the fastest-growing stretch we cover, so a good deal of it is newer housing with its own quirks: a lot of glass, a lot of tile, and outdoor living that needs as much attention as the inside.
Southern Gold Coast, QLD — 9 towns
Coolangatta up through Tugun, Currumbin and Palm Beach to Burleigh Heads and Miami. Nine suburbs in one continuous coastal strip, which is why they are close enough together to run properly in a day.
Density changes the work here more than distance does. A great deal of it is apartments and townhouses rather than free-standing houses, which means lifts, loading docks, building access windows and a body corporate with a view about when anyone can be on site.
Salt is the constant. Glass, balustrades, window hardware and outdoor furniture all age faster within sight of the water, and a place that is cleaned on a schedule holds up visibly better than one that is not.

1. What areas does TLB Cleaning service?
56 towns across three regions: the Northern Rivers and the Tweed in New South Wales, and the Southern Gold Coast in Queensland. That runs from Kyogle and Casino in the west, through Lismore and the hinterland, out to Ballina, Lennox Head and Byron Bay on the coast, north through Murwillumbah, Kingscliff and Tweed Heads, and over the border to Palm Beach and Burleigh Heads. Every one of them is named on this page — ask us if yours is not.
2. My town is not on the list. Can you still come?
Ask us. The list is where we regularly work, not a fence. If you are a few minutes outside it we will usually say yes, and if we genuinely cannot get there we will tell you rather than book you in and let you find out. Either way you get a straight answer the same day.
3. Is there a travel charge for the outer towns?
No. Everything on this page is inside our regular run, so the price you are quoted is the price, whether you are in Byron Bay, out at Kyogle or up at Burleigh Heads. If a job were ever far enough out to change that, you would hear it at the quote and not on the invoice.
4. Do you work on both sides of the NSW and Queensland border?
Yes, and it is one of the more useful things about us. We work the Northern Rivers in New South Wales and the Southern Gold Coast in Queensland, so a move from one side of the border to the other can be cleaned at both ends by the same team. That matters most at the end of a lease, where the cleaning barely changes but the paperwork and the regulator do.
5. Do I get the same cleaners each visit?
Yes, wherever we can. Your place is assigned to a team and that is who you see, which is the main reason the service area stops where it does — a run that stretched further would mean whoever was nearest that day instead. If someone is away, another member of your team covers and we tell you first.
6. Do you clean holiday lets and businesses in these areas, or only homes?
All three. Regular home cleaning, deep and one-off cleans, end of lease, holiday let turnovers timed to the booking calendar, managed-property work for agencies, and commercial cleaning for offices, shopfronts and premises. The six services are listed above and each has its own page.
